BsGW reminders will be received at the end of August

From August 28, BsGW will send reminders, so that private individuals and entrepreneurs know that an amount is still outstanding. These reminders relate to all taxes for the municipalities affiliated with BsGW and the water board. Additional costs are associated with this reminder. If there is no response or payment, a writ of execution will follow later in the year.

In view of the exceptional situation, we recently sent a free payment reminder - once only. This has ensured that the attack has been brought back to the attention.

What can you do to avoid a reminder?

Have you not yet paid all BsGW assessments and do you not have a deferment of payment? Then try to pay as soon as possible or request a payment arrangement. You have until August 22 for this. If your payment or payment arrangement request has not yet been received by us on this date, the reminder with the associated costs will be sent to you.
 

Gradual start-up of the recovery process

Due to the corona crisis, we have temporarily suspended the local tax collection process. This means that no reminders and / or subpoenas have been sent in the past period. In addition, no bailiff activities took place. In order to meet private individuals and entrepreneurs in this crisis, entrepreneurs have been temporarily granted deferment of payment on the tax assessments sent. Collection via automatic collection was also temporarily suspended. Now that the government's measures with regard to corona have been relaxed again, we are gradually starting the recovery process again, with understanding for individuals and entrepreneurs who have been financially affected by the corona crisis.
